  • The simulation and performance of Hydrodynamics is demonstrated by the virtual scenes of computer, in which a number of physical properties of liquid or gaseous (including velocity, pressure, density, temperature, etc.) will be numerically experimented, calculated, simulated, analyzed and researched. The whole process of this operation will be demonstrated through graphic images.

The practical application of the simulation and performance of Hydrodynamics can solve a variety of engineering design and scientific research problems, such as calculating the impact of the air flow on the aircraft in aeronautics; simulating the impact of water flow on the hull when ships and submarines operate underwater or on surface, and many other fields.

In particular, in the field of movie, the simulation and performance of Hydrodynamics have become the industry's technology commanding point. Because of its complex technology and high cost, it is mainly applied in the production of high-cost investment of hundreds of millions of dollars, such as the fluid special effects of international well-known films including the Day After Tomorrow, Jurassic Park, Terminator, Pirates of the Caribbean, Star Wars, Harry Potter, Poseidon, X-Men, The Lord of the Rings, Ice Age, and 300, most of which are produced with the software Realflow developed by Next Limit.

Realflow Contest was first held in 2006 by Next Limit Technologies Corporation for the purpose of promoting the application of the software Realflow and further expanding its influence in the industry. The event is organized regularly every year and opened to the global for entries. It is the most professional competition of the simulation and performance of Hydrodynamics in the world.

In this contest, DANS has beaten many competitors from various countries in one swoop and won the first place. Prior to this, the technology of the simulation and performance of Hydrodynamics has been monopolized by companies in the United States and Europe. It is the first time for Asian companies to win the award in this area.
