• DREAMS-ON·LOGO was nominated in the Title Sequence of Brand Content at CICLOPE International Festiva

  • In 2017 CICLOPE International Festival of Craft which was just ended successfully, DREAMS-ON·LOGO was nominated in the Title Sequence of Brand Content out of nearly 2000 entries in the world, and it was the only Chinese work to won the prize.

     CICLOPE International Festival of Craft (CICLOPE Festival) enjoys a good reputation in Europe and the United States, and it is the international event fully dedicated to the “craft” in moving image. In the last few years, it has become a platform to share creative ideas and technological achievements in visual effect industry. Unlike advertising festivals, CICLOPE Festival focuses on the art of execution, rather than the ideas. They believe a good execution is as important as the idea.
       
    CICLOPE Festival was hold around the globe each year. In 2013, CICLOPE Festival moved to Kino International theater in Berlin (Germany), one of the most exciting cities in the world, and CICLOPE has become the world's top grand meeting to communicate creative ideas each year.


    ▲ Each year, there will be a very fierce competition for topnotch production companies and advertisements of premium brands to compete with each other in CICLOPE, including VOLVO’s impressive ad of “The Epic split” performed by Jean-Claude Van Damme.


    Ciclope Festival 2017 successfully attracted nearly 2000 entries which are from top-ranking animation companies, visual effect companies and production companies as well as noted international brands of the world. These excellent works also established Ciclope Festival's leading status in creative ideas and execution of the world advertising. Good things are rarely for free, to keep the competition in a high standard, Ciclope charged a high entry fee for each work(€345 each, around RMB 2700 Yuan each), which shut unqualified works out of its gate. Approximately 140 senior creative directors, directors and chief technology officers constitutes the powerful jury team, which also showed the authoritative of Ciclope Festival as a world reputable festival of creativity.

    There are totally 5 sections and 46 categories in Ciclope Festival 2017. As a new category in Year 2017, the competition under title sequence category is particularly fierce. The entries are not only evaluated through their content and creative ideas in performing the brand essence, they are also scored by the production process and crafts. That means there must be a fierce competition for the entries in this category. In the end, only 7 works becomes finalists in this category, and DREAMS-ON·LOGO was the only Chinese work to become a finalist. As the result came out, “MARS”of National Graphic won the gold prize, "SS-GB”of BBC won the silver prize and "NYC Opening”of Style Frames won the bronze prize in the Title Sequence of Brand Content. “DREAMS-ON·LOGO” become a nominee in the Title Sequence of Brand Content, along with “The Mill” which won 10 Cannes Lions, and the work from Framestore which produced “Gravity”,“The Martian” & “Doctor Strange”, and the work from German company -  Florian Stumpe & Melanie Spintig.

    On Oct. 27, 2017 at 19:45, Ciclope Festival award ceremony was kicked off in Kino international in Berlin, where many huge blockbusters was initialed, the theater was decorated with giant coloured posts. About 700 producers and creatives all over the world, as well as many international brands (for example, Nike, Apple, AUDI, Coca Cola, P&G, Samsung, New Balance, etc), are gathered in Berlin to exchange ideas and celebrate the most well-crafted works of the year. 


    We can also see the premium brands such as GUCCI, NIKE, MINI Cooper, adidas, SAMSUNG, H&M, Google, John Lewis and LACOSTE, etc. in 2017 CICLOPE International Festival of Craft, their works are always seen in top international award festivals such as Cannes Lions, Clio and NYF, etc.
